Q As you have learned this week, every research study includes a problem statement (sometimes referred to as a purpose statement). The problem statement introduces the issue to be studied and explains why it is important. Writing a problem statement is an important initial step in research because it guides the entire study, including the methodology the researcher will use to collect, analyze, and report the data. For your purposes, it will guide the review of the research literature you will undertake in the next few weeks. Clarifying the focus of a research problem often entails revising and redefining the problem, and your colleagues can be of immense value in helping you sort through your thought process. Use the feedback you received during this week’s Discussion to polish your problem statement and formulate your research question(s) just as a formal researcher would do. For this assignment, you will formulate a general problem statement concerning the issue you described in your Discussion posting. Remember that a general problem statement tells the reader what your focus will be, what the context is, and why the problem is significant. 1. Construct a general problem statement that: • Tells the reader what the focus will be • Describes the context or problem • Explains why the problem is significant • Identifies the stakeholders to whom you might present the solution to this problem 2. Then, formulate two to four specific research question(s) based on this problem. For additional guidelines on writing your problem statement and research questions, refer to the multimedia program on problem statements in this week’s Learning Resources. By Day 7 Submit your problem statement and research questions. Submission and Grading Information To submit your completed Project for review and grading, do the following: • Please save your Project using the naming convention “WK2Proj+last name+first initial.(extension)” as the name. • Click the Week 2 Project link. • Next, from the Attach File area, click on the Browse My Computer button. Find the document you saved as “WK2Proj+last name+first initial.(extension)” and click Open. • If applicable: From the Plagiarism Tools area, click the checkbox for I agree to submit my paper(s) to the Global Reference Database. • Click on the Submit button to complete your submission.

Challenges faced by young learners and adult learners of online teaching Online teaching and learning have become more popular in higher education ever since the Pandemic of COVID19. There is a problem in online higher education which relates to adult learners vs young learners. The problem, specifically, is challenges faced by adult learners and young learners online. With e-learning, students can observe many learning methods with a much-reduced need for travel (Rawashdeh et al., 2021). This study will develop an online model to encourage all learners to understand the challenges that both adult and young learners face by taking online courses.
